The Parish of the Good Shepherd is attended by the parish priest and other collaborating priests, and has the valuable service and collaboration of many Christian volunteers who offer their time and gifts in the multiple pastoral tasks and in the liturgical celebrations.

Through email you can make comments or suggestions to the Parish. We have the doors open.

LIVING COMMUNITY,
THANKS TO YOUR TIME

You can collaborate by contributing your gifts, your time or participating in one of the groups.

The parish also lives thanks to the free contribution of many people who dedicate their time, their qualities and their faith.

THANK YOU!

The parish priests

Although the temple was inaugurated in 1897, the parish community previously had a priest to serve those who came daily to proclaim and cultivate their faith, experience the Eucharist, or celebrate their marriage and other sacraments. During this time, these have been the parish priests:

Columbarium

The columbarium is a sacred space for memory and prayer. It arises with an eminently pastoral purpose; to receive the ashes of our loved ones in a dignified and close way. The Columbarium consists of small niches reflecting an ancient tradition of locating cemeteries next to parishes, where family and friends can pray and remember their loved ones.

A space has been prepared in the cathedral crypt. It has almost 200 small spaces to house funeral urns.

“I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me will live, even though they die; and those who live and believe in me will never die.”

John 11, 25

If you want to receive information about this space, contact the parish office.

“I am the good shepherd. As the Father knows me and I know the Father, in the same way I know my sheep and they know me. And I am willing to die for them.”

John 10, 14-15

HELP US

The temple is God’s house and ours. Let’s collaborate to keep it worthy. If you wish to collaborate in the conservation of the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd of San Sebastian or in its activities, make a donation.

Self-financing is the challenge that we Catholics take on, because the maintenance of our community is in our hands. This is done through subscription, which is convenient, stable and deducts taxes in the Income Tax Return.
